Pixelsleuth

Terms

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms cover the Pixelsleuth browser extension, Pixelsleuth Pro and this website. They're between you and Choodle Ltd, trading as Pixelsleuth (company no. 17506918, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom).

1. What Pixelsleuth is

Pixelsleuth is a browser extension that shows the fonts, colours and CSS of the page you open it on. It keeps only the colours you pick, in your browser; see the privacy policy. You are responsible for following the terms of the websites you inspect, and for how you use what you copy from them, including other people's fonts, designs and code.

2. The free version

The free version is free of charge, with the limits shown in the store listing. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it. You may not resell it, or copy, modify or redistribute its code except as the law allows.

3. Pixelsleuth Pro

4. What it can read

Pixelsleuth reads pages the way your browser has rendered them, so some things limit what any inspector can show. It can't read the style rules of stylesheets served from another site, text drawn inside images or canvases, or the contents of closed components; the readouts say so where they can tell. Your browser doesn't let extensions run on some pages at all, such as its own settings pages and extension stores. Browser updates can change what extensions may read; when that affects Pixelsleuth, we aim to release a fix within a few days, but we can't promise a time.

5. Your data

Pixelsleuth keeps only the colours you pick, in your browser, so we can't recover them. Clearing them in Options, or uninstalling the extension, deletes them.

6. Support

Support is by email only: support+pixelsleuth@orderhue.com. We normally reply within 2 working days. We don't offer phone or video calls.

7. Our liability

We build and test Pixelsleuth carefully, but we can't promise it will be error-free.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change affects your next renewal, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. If you break these terms, for example by sharing a licence key publicly, we may deactivate that key.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
